There are the optimist and pessimist points of view when it comes to losing streaks. Either it’s a bump in the road, and the team will improve in the

I think its just a case of the team playing over its head for a long stretch and now its catching up to them with the condensed schedule. As we have seen the past few seasons, this team needs to be balls to the wall every game to overcome their lack of high end talent. As more talented teams ramp up, their effort level rises up to where the Flyers have already been. Its unsustainable to play a whole season like that IMO.

It’s fair to say that this season, more than usual, is a marathon and not a sprint. It’s why the Panthers didn’t get off to a hot start but know that in the long run they can ramp up and be a Cup-caliber group down the stretch.
The good news about the Flyers playing at a high level early was that they built up a cushion and aren’t chasing teams, at least not yet. The big question will be how they look after the Olympics, when it will be a sprint to the playoffs.

Let’s also not forget their best line for 2 years now (Cates/Brink/Foerster) is down to 1 player.

The injuries are starting to get to the Flyers. The big one, though, is Vladar, who has been their best player all season, and the team has no answer at backup.
        All the best!

Hey, I was reading your take on the Flyers and how keeping up that high effort over a long stretch can be exhausting, and it reminded me how sometimes you just need a fun break. That’s when I stumbled onto billionaire spin, and the bonuses for players from Canada immediately caught my eye. I tried a few spins on their Diamond Spin slot, hit a short losing streak, then risked a bigger spin and landed a solid win. That swing made the session exciting and surprisingly satisfying.

For the most part, the Flyers are hitting the wall about the same time they’ve hit it the past 5 seasons (though they delayed it a couple weeks as the post-Christmas West Coast Death March usually does them in).

Why isn’t anybody in Philly talking about the special teams crashing and burning (again)? New coach, same sorry-assed special teams play.
