Looks like York back. “Murch” is out.

Played well though need that vet presence in juulson. Really makes one wonder will Andrae come out will RR returns.

    Would anyone be shocked?

Would have been nice to see Tippett-Zegras-Michkov play more then 1 shift together. I guess baby steps for the HC who values defensive responsibility as priority for all 4 lines put on the ice. Team is now 9th from the bottom in goals scored. Might want to think about trying for a little more offense then trying to keep trying to squeak out 2-1 wins.

Zegras gonna get paid, he is saving the regime.

The Flyers have gotten five points in the first five games of a tough 6-game stretch against elevated opposition. COL, Vegas and CAR are elite teams in the league. They clearly aren’t there but played every game pretty tough, lost once in regulation and beat the sagging Sharks in the take care of business game. They really miss Foerster. Really exposes a lack of depth up front. They’re fine when they’re healthy, but they aren’t healthy. At least they aren’t NJ, who have gone 6-10 since Hughes went out and he’s still close to a month away. The Flyers have absorbed D injuries a good bit better. Without TF, only the Zegras line was able to generated consistent chances AND, more importantly, results. Say what you want about Zegras but he’s been remarkably consistent and has terrific hands. He’s a great bad pass or loose puck receiver and just keeps going. He’s goals 2 goals, 3 assists and a +3 in 3 games vs. CAR.

Two thoughts after this weekend’s games: 1) we seemingly got destroyed on the faceoffs and a lot of issues stemmed from that; and 2) at no point during either game did I find myself watching Ghost and thinking to myself that I am glad he isn’t on the Flyers anymore.
