Not enough credit is being given to Marner for the Game 6 victory.

Great defensive play to take the puck away, great spinning pass to Matthews, top notch primary assist to finally get the monkey off Matthews’ back. Also had a great pass to Knies early in the game that he couldn’t bury.

Perfect on the PK too. On the ice in the closing minutes, constantly clearing the zone without icing the puck or taking a penalty.

    In a tight elimination game.

They will hate on him twice as hard for the mistakes and give him half the credit for the successes, calling him a greedy bitch who doesn’t help win big games. Except when he does, then all you hear is crickets.

    Bullshit.

No matter how Game 7 goes, pay the man. Continue being patient, even though it’s taking way longer than anybody wanted or expected. Don’t risk watching him win Cups in another city like we’ve seen so many (lesser) former Leafs do before.

People should still be angry that the games 1, 2, and 6 effort disappeared for 3 games.

    How does that happen?

Anyway, GLG until it kills me.

Time to bring the blue Karma on Sunday. I wonder if all of those people who burned their jersey’s are having second thoughts?

If you asked before the series would you take a game 7, most of us would have said yes. What an opportunity this is. -Fifty

I would have said no because this Leafs team absolutely sucks in Game 7s.

In front of that dead crowd at home, even worse. The crowd was a disgrace in Game 5 and that was way before the game became a debacle.

I’m not missing the Buzz. Haven’t gone there in 4 days. This is now home for Leafs Nation. Time to get out the word.

I feel that our unseen hero might be Laughton. He’s been around the puck and has played doggedly throughout the playoffs. He hasn’t been rewarded, so the hockey Gods may grant the opportunity to do the unthinkable and dispatch Florida in game 7. -PrinceLH

    Jarnkrok or OEL.

Yes, I’d take game 7 having Home Ice, if looking at it at the start of the series. Florida are the Champions and you know that they’ll come out on fire, in Game 7. If we are tied after 1, there’s a distinct possibility that we can take this series. I’m guessing that Florida is hiding a lot of injuries to key players too. Barkov seems to be a little banged up and some of their bottom 6 seem a bit beat up too.

Time for Tavares, Nylander or another top-six forward to win a game. Or…*gasp* a bottom-six player score a goal.

Or a defenseman. Rielly? Wake up time.

Somebody new has to step up in Game 7.

Woll already stole a game, can’t expect him to pitch another SO.
