Get off your stomach, Soderblom… Thru 3-1/2 periods he looks more like 2023 Soda than 2024 Soda. Get up, dude…….. Throw any puck at Hofer’s feet right now. He’s way off right now. He’ll keep coughing.

I think I’ll make it thru the game

    Ahhh, thanks for the info.
Puck drop is about 9:45pm my time so period 3 is out of the question.
Period 2 is unlikely as well. I need my beauty sleep 😉

Go to your local dispensary. Get some super natural delight and git jiggy wit it…….

Can anybody tell me why in the AKSHUAL F**K they schedule mid week games at 8:30pm local time?

full disclosure: I might be a bit extra butt hurt because I live in the Eastern time zone.

A TNT national broadcast, MH. What tv wants tv gets……. But yea, it sucks. Last yr I might fall asleep in the 3rd, even if was a noon game, but the way the squad is playing I think I’ll make it thru the game.

Blashill stays with the 7D 11F lineup replacing Foligno with Reichel. I think I like this. In theory spreads out the minutes on D, the added Dman allows for more matchup options, if a young Dman is struggling the minutes he doesn’t get spreads out over 6 other Dmen and not 5 and gives Blashill plenty of chances to pick and choose extra shifts for whatever forwards are playing well, ideally Bedard, Nazar, TT and Burakovsky.

Soderblom goes. He wasn’t his best last outing hopefully he finds last yrs form tonight. A quiet Soderblom is a good Soderblom. .

Reichel with another chance to be an enigma.

The Foligno leave can get the group ready fro next year when he isn’t playing hockey anymore.

It sucks to hear about the concussions in the AHL, hopefully nothing too serious for Korchinski or Allan.

Sounds like there will be a shake up in the line up with Foligno taking a leave of absence due to his family (his daughter’s medical surgery).

I really hope the Hawks can push the pace a bit more. They just need to find a way to not have to lean so heavy on the goalie to remain in games. Between now and November we should hopefully start to see some progress/improvement to show that Blashill is making a meaningful difference.

IIRC Foligno has dressed every game and for at least 3 of the 4 Blashill has gone with 7 D and 11 forwards and now he doesn’t have Foligno as one of the 11 forwards. …… Be interesting who draws in and if he stays with the 7D 11F alignment.

The Hawks have shown that they play with effort for 3 periods so far this yr. That same effort will have this club in it.
