ParticipantIf you’ve been diving deep into Forza Horizon 6, you probably already know that some of the absolute best cars in the game are hidden behind the in-game progression systems. A prime example of this is the legendary Lotus Scura Motorsports Exige WTAC. This exclusive Extreme Track Toy is widely considered the ultimate milestone for anyone mastering the asphalt, and getting your hands on it requires some serious dedication to the tarmac.
To unlock this monster, you need to rack up 9,360 points specifically in the Road Racing category of your Collection Journal. It’s a grind, but totally worth it. Here is a practical breakdown of how to work your way through the progression tree and add this beast to your garage.
Steps to Complete the Progression Tree
Track Your Progress in the Journal: Pop open your pause menu, select the Discover Japan tab, and open up the Car Collection menu. From there, locate the Road Racing page. This is where you can see exactly how many points you currently have and how close you are to that 9,360 target.Clear Every Road Race on the Map: Start ticking off the standard road racing events scattered across the map. The good news is that Horizon 6 rewards consistency; simply crossing the finish line in any position grants you base completion points.
Aim for First Place (Or Lower the Difficulty): While finishing races gets you points, consistently taking 1st place is how you maximize your gains and actually hit the threshold. If the AI is giving you a hard time or making the grind frustrating, do not hesitate to lower the Drivatar difficulty. You still get full completion points for the win, and it makes the process a lot smoother.
Conquer the Endurance Showcases: You cannot max out the journal points on short sprints alone. You will need to unlock and finish the massive long-distance showcase events—specifically the Colossus and the Goliath. Preparing a comfortable, high-speed grip car for these long treks will save you a lot of headache.
The moment you hit that 9,360-point milestone, the car unlocks instantly. Just go back to the Collection Journal menu to claim it, and it will be sent straight to your garage. If you happen to have millions of extra credits burning a hole in your pocket and want to skip the grind entirely, you can also try your luck sniping one from other players on the Auction House, though they do not pop up very often.
Performance Profile & Customization
Once you finally have the Exige WTAC parked in your garage, fast travel over to any Player House or Horizon Festival site to start throwing parts at it. Right out of the box, its performance figures are pretty absurd:Stock Stats: It starts its life in the R Class (998) with a perfect 10 in braking and a 9.2 in handling.
Max Upgrades: When you fully upgrade this machine, the stats turn into pure comedy. It pumps out 1,500 horsepower while tipping the scales at a featherweight 1,922 pounds.
Handling & Aerodynamics: The real magic is in the aero. The Lotus generates over 2,400 pounds of downforce, meaning it can pull an incredible 3.92 lateral Gs at 120 mph.
In real-world gameplay terms, this translates to absolute dominance on technical tracks. You can clear the vast majority of high-speed, sweeping corners completely flat-out without ever having to touch the brakes. It glues itself to the road like nothing else in the R class, making it the definitive weapon for clearing any rival times or online road lobbies.
