For the second day in a row the Penguins saw standings points slip away when there was a real chance to earn a victory. Today, it was a blown third p
[See the full post at: Kings Rule Over Third Period In Pittsburgh]I thought the Pens started to wear down in the third, but the bugaboo of blowing 3rd period leads has returned from last year. The depth at wing is noticeable without Rak and Braz. Koiv still can’t find the net. This is turning into a much more interesting year than I thought. Seems like the team has the fortitude to compete every night. Just missing a two or three parts to make it a real playoff team.
Sid needs something defensively. Although if I’m being honest the only thing I care about this year is his ppg record to continue. Hopefully a couple good years of drafting pay off. I would like to see more kids get some chances to see how they really do.
SAN Jose and Anaheim is going to be a hell of a rivalry in a couple years. Montreal is going to be a beast too. I’ve noticed the west is really dominating so far in scoring.
