ParticipantThat would be foolish imo…..so with Tre….maybe
Woll is always a question mark when it comes to health….Stolarz is similar and we dont know which stolarz we are going to get back.
The beast as looked great, but its only been a short stint, is he the answer long term? Too early to tell.Keep 3 goalies until the off season…..heck Id even keep 3 goalies going forward beyond that.
I wish Woll well but it’s literally a matter of time before he gets hurt again. The Leafs will need to keep all 3 goalies unless they want to tank. Hildeby will be sent back down and be back-up eventually.
Stolarz was always overrated, he played above his head last year. With so much down time this year, he should be the back-up and keep Woll rested.
I think a team would claim him.

ParticipantBoy that Tarasenko guy, Leafs missed a chance on that one. But it’s not like the Leafs needed to sign anybody to help the PP who won a Stanley Cup under Berube…
He’d probably have 30-40 playing with any combo of Matthews, Knies, Tavares and Nylander, especially on the PP. Much better to have plugs like Maccelli for 3.4 AAV.
Leafs just did not show up at home. Minnesota is a terrible state but they’re a great hockey team and the Leafs were outplayed. If Woll doesn’t stand on his head, the Leafs are helpless.
The Leafs are SO BACK to being a wild card pretender.
but he’s over 25, doesn’t fit the mold.

ParticipantThat one stung a bit, Wild are a good team but the Leafs didn’t play a full 60 at all and paid the price.
Feels like the Detroit game is a big one and they need points, the Atlantic is still so tight it’s crazy.
The Atlantic is also the toughest division in hockey top to bottom really, I mean look at the Pacific compared to the Atlantic.
The Oilers with 2 more points than the Leafs in one more game and they are sitting in 2nd in the Pacific, San Jose in 3rd and wouldn’t even be in a playoff spot in the Atlantic.
Sucks to be in the Atlantic right now, knowing who ever your team matches up against in the 1st round is going to be a tough draw.
It’s surprising that more teams from the Western Conference haven’t won the cup lately, they should almost all have had an easy path to get to the finals than those coming out of the East.
How do you think Edmonton got there? Twice, lol.
