tkachuk brothers are going to open a new meth lab in miami using their daddy’s old recipe. it’s orange like kraft dinner and their favorite pdf.

good for ottawa i guess. yeah, they suck, but that’s a nice return for any tkachuk. what was it? three firsts and a second or something? if a tkachuk goes for that much, what does a matthews or mcdavid fetch on the market? if somebody offers us three firsts and more for anyone on our roster, then i’d take it.

this offseason is getting interesting. maybe we get one of those weird years where the UFA class kinda sucks, so we get more big trades than usual?

Matthews and Nylander with 50% retained along with everything else of value the Leafs have could bring in 12-15 1st round picks.

The UFA class is ripe for overpayment, as the Leafs already did with Raddysh. The Leafs best bet is to load up on defensive forwards for the bottom six, specifically FO winning experts. You use them exclusively in the D-Zone so Matthews and Tavares don’t ever have to play defense. If the season goes south, you sell off everybody like they did with Roy, Laughton, McMann etc.

That’s BS 100% to the bold and you know it. He wants to win and if he can’t do it in Winnipeg, then elsewhere.

Nah, it’s not, it’s very accurate. Winnipeg isn’t the place to live if you don’t have to. There’s no chance he can win there and he’s better off in America than in Winterpeg the rest of the year just like Ehlers.

I read an interseting trade proposal
    To Buffalo: Knies
    To Toronto: Byram

I guess if Buffalo can’t resign Tuch, Knies is the next best thing for them.

    Hard pass for me.
The Leafs have been looking for a player like knies for years….and will be if traded.

    Keep him for now.

You aren’t allowed to say any of the Leafs lack of success is due to reasons like injuries, that only applies to other teams and Toronto missing the playoffs for the first time in a decade is only because Marner is gone and JT sucks & the other reasons the unhinged moron constantly shits out of his pie hole.

Again, you’re too retarded to know the facts. Florida was #1 in games lost due to injury. Vegas was #2. Montreal was #6. Tampa Bay was #7. Toronto was #9. Buffalo was #11.

Barkov missed 82 games. Tkachuk missed 51. Marchand missed 30. Matthews missed 22 when the Leafs were already fucked. Tanev missed most of the season but if the team’s success hinges on Tanev being healthy, the Leafs are constructed like a skyscraper made of popsicle sticks.

The Leafs had some injuries but Florida was by far more injured than the Leafs for longer and to more important players. The Leafs were shit even with their best players playing as Matthews had one of the worst years of his career and it was mostly because he didn’t have Marner anymore.

Big difference but you’re obviously too retarded to realize it.

    no thanks
imo Knies has much more value, byran will get a 10+ deal soon, knies has 5 years at a very good cap hit
it should take a haul similar to Brady tchk

Florida is going to run the East again next year. The only reason they missed the playoffs this year was because of the injuries to Barkov and Tkachuk. Florida finished the year with the most games lost due to injuries. With a long offseason, the team will be recharged and the majority of their team is still in their prime. Pretty much everybody except Marchand and possibly Bob coming back, is 30 or younger. There is a very high chance Florida can fight for a Cup and win another within the next 3-5 years without those draft picks they gave away. That is the benefit of having a core of players collected at the correct time and at the correct age. Florida has a winning formula and their only issue is whether or not they bring back Bob or if they can find a solid replacement for 7 AAV or less. Hellebuyck is the next elite player tired of Canada and don’t be surprised if Florida or any other of these contenders out there (Carolina or Vegas) make a big splash for him next.

That’s BS 100% to the bold and you know it. He wants to win and if he can’t do it in Winnipeg, then elsewhere.

Florida and the Leafs had major injuries on their roster last year.

Now now, don’t you know the rules here?

I would look at Sim, on the Marlies. He’s an instigator that has tendencies like the Marchand in Florida

I was at the Marlies game Friday when they won and SIM stood out big time, I would LOVE to see him on the Leafs this year, you have described his game perfectly and he has a real knack for getting under the skin of the opponents and is physical. Marchand-esque without the face licking for sure.

Danford underwhelmed me, he and Cowan were on the ice for 2 of the Chicago goals and he paid the price and rode the pine the bulk of the 3rd period and the back half of the 2nd for the most part. I think Danford needs another full year in the AHL.

Akhtyamov is the real deal and the goaltending depth in Toronto is above average for sure IMO.
