Here’s hoping it was only precautionary.
The leafs drive to get back into a playoff spot depends on good goaltending. Hildy isnt it.That’s so unfair, he has started 8 of the last 9? That’s a 72 game pace over a full season, therefore a Brodeur pace.

Its not unfair at all. He’s a professional athlete (in his prime), he should be able to handle playing 8 games in 20 days, its a short stretch and he wouldn’t be playing this amount over the course of the season. So the 72 game pace is irrelevant as it would never happen.
Missed 35 games last year, missed several weeks in 2023 (ankle), another ankle injury in 2022 and missed games in 2021.
Plays well when he plays, but it seems like you cant ever rely on him.
