Stupdid Marner slurpers. I was a fan of marner, but he wasnt perfect and he choose to leave.
The leafs never made it past the 2nd round with Marner…marner barely produced in games 5- 7 for 9 years.
We arent missing winning the cup because Marner left and Vegas isnt winning the cup because of marner.
This marner BS and the morons who spewed need to STFU.Now with that said. The leafs are truly missing regular season marner.
And it was a very solid win against the pens, Woll looks pretty good.

Tavares absolutely sucked vs. the Panthers in the playoffs last year. He had 0 goals and 0 points in Game 1, 2, 4, 5, 6 and 7. The one game he did score in, Game 3, they lost, because he had 4 giveaways and was a minus 1.
And Nylander? 0 goals, 0 assists, 0 points in Game 4, Game 5, Game 6 and Game 7. He was a minus -3

The fact is he disappeared again the final 4 games just like he has for the most part for games 5-7 the past 9 years.
And where was Tavares, Nylander and Matthews in the final 4 games? You know Michael Jordan didn’t win a single NBA championship if you eliminate all the years he won a championship right? If you pretend like the positives never happened, then it’s easy to become fixated on this brain dead idiotic opinion that Marner “disappeared” when in reality, he did more positive things than anybody you slurp on a daily basis.
The facts are simple. Tavares and Nylander absolutely sucked balls vs the Panthers after Game 3. You can’t talk about “disappearing” when the facts are slapping you the face like Tavares’ balls slap your chin. Tavares disappeared. Not Marner. Marner DIRECTLY led to scoring THREE GAME WINNING GOALS against the Panthers, including in Game 6. He did his part.
Facts.

and that’s where the issue lies. Cause it’s not.
Until they aren’t almost dead last in the East, aren’t almost a lottery team and aren’t missing the playoffs playing mostly terrible hockey but instead are winning the division, in the 2nd round of the playoffs and taking the defending Cup Champs to Game 7, I most definitely am correct. NOT!
