ParticipantNice win.
But FFS can woll ever stay healthyThat’s so unfair, he has started 8 of the last 9? That’s a 72 game pace over a full season, therefore a Brodeur pace.
I know it hasn’t played out the way they’ve wanted but Berube cannot continue leaning on the goalies the leafs have like they’re f’n 90% starters. It’s simply not who they are.

ParticipantNice win.
But FFS can woll ever stay healthyIt’s frustrating, but you have to hope he felt something was off, and with the game well in hand after two, they decided to play it safe. Fingers crossed. He’s been insane this year.

Its not unfair at all. He’s a professional athlete (in his prime), he should be able to handle playing 8 games in 20 days, its a short stretch and he wouldn’t be playing this amount over the course of the season. So the 72 game pace is irrelevant as it would never happen.
Missed 35 games last year, missed several weeks in 2023 (ankle), another ankle injury in 2022 and missed games in 2021.
Plays well when he plays, but it seems like you cant ever rely on him.
Its too bad.December 5, 2025 at 8:54 am #53121Fakepartofme

Here’s hoping it was only precautionary.
The leafs drive to get back into a playoff spot depends on good goaltending. Hildy isnt it.December 5, 2025 at 10:54 am #53141Mr. Sir

Its too bad.Sorry I won’t agree with you on this one. Average rate for NHL starting goalies is 50-60 games a season. Therefore the pace they had him at was roughly an 18-22% increase in starts for a NHL goalie.
You can’t expect every NHL goalie to have Brodeur’s endurance capability without risk. If you do you’re crazy, I’m sorry but you are. Woll is good, but he’s not a HoF all star.
