ParticipantThey played OK tonight. It’s obvious that they need more offense. Willy might have helped. Not sold om Maccelli. He’s allot like Domi, a turnover machine. Leafs need to address their need for a top 6 winger with a little more jam. The defense looks good with Tanev back. Time to get something done while they still have the ability to make a move into the playoffs. Too bad that Stolarz isn’t available. He would make excellent trade bait.

ParticipantAnd shift the goal posts. Nothing to do with the post I commented on which was really really dumb, even for you.
Absolutely no goal posts were moved, you’re just too stupid to realize it.
The original point was, and still is, Steve Sullivan is not the best person for the job. Hell, he’s not even doing the job as the Leafs said the PP would be run by “committee” which means 66% of the time, Steve Sullivan’s input won’t even matter. He was a mediocre PP threat as a player (which tells me the current core players won’t respect him enough to listen to him considering they’re all better PP performers than he ever was) and has done next to nothing as a coach to make me believe he’s a capable NHL coach. Those are two solid data points that show he won’t be any more useful than Savard. Sullivan was simply the next man up because they were either too stupid or too shit for anybody good to make anybody want to coach this sad sack shit of a team.
Speaking of Savard, I correctly predicted he would fail. Why? Because his experience in the NHL was limited and his teams sucked on the PP. And here we are, fired Savard for having the worst PP in the NHL. But you’ll all pretend that never happened.
The Leafs are doing what they always do; hire the most mediocre people to do the most important jobs. It’s no wonder they get mediocre results.
But the Leafs keep serving you dog shit, you lick it up and pretend it’s chocolate ice cream.

Then maybe don’t use ridiculous comparisons like NHL PPG scored as support to your unfounded arguments. Time will tell with the PP.

Wrong. It’s Maple Walnut.

So, again, if you’re Nylander, Tavares and Matthews and Steve Sullivan shows up and starts telling you how to run a PP, you honestly believe those guys are going to give one solitary flying fuck what he has to say when they all literally have more career PPG than he does?
It’s one thing if an established coach, with proven success, a track record of winning comes in having being been a bad or marginal player and tells players what to do because he at least as a resume of success. But Steve Sullivan has nothing. He has barely two years of AHL assistant coaching and nothing else to his name that the current core of entitled players would respect or listen to.
The last few games, the Leafs have had some PPG goals but it’s not because Steve Sullivan is doing anything, it’s simply because the retard Savard is gone and his system was so brain dead that it completely tied their most skilled players by the balls and gave them nothing to work with.
When they hired Savard “time will tell” was the mantra. Time proved me right.
