I was a little worried when the Leafs let in the first goal late in the first period.
Then come the dreadded 2nd period. Where the managed to be a +1 👍
This season so far, the 3rd has been the Leafs’ better periods and got he W even when the Mammoth scored late in the 3rd period – again, another late period goal I may add

Boston and Carolina back to back this weekend.

Primeau will get which team? Carolina from where the the Leafs plucked him from?
I’d rather see Stollie going in that game.

I’ll take things that will never happen for $1000, Alex.

Pretty solid win against a really solid team, especially considering being down Tanev and Benoit.

Can’t wait to be informed about what is wrong with this team.

Powerplay still absolutely sucks, they only had 12 shots after 2 periods, biggest players on the team are the softest (Roy, Myers, Carlo all soft as baby shit in the corners), Stolarz hasn’t been as sharp as he was last year and the bottom pairing of Mermis and Myers is pure AHL level shit.

    You’re welcome.

    1) PP also sucked last year at this point in the season with possibly the greatest player ever to lace them up.
    2) Shots do not win games, goals do. Also, Utah had 16 after 2, soooooo…
    3) Who cares if the big players are soft, because the small players are the pittbulls. Laughton was taking no shit around Stollie. I’m sure Roy and Carlo would throw down if required.
    4) Stollie is off a bit, but he’ll settle in. Goalies gonna goalie.
    5) Yes, our bottom pairing when Tanev and Benoit are out are pure AHL level shit… BECAUSE THEY’RE SUPPOSED TO BE PLAYING IN THE AHL!!! Nobody is under the impression that these guy are gonna be anything more than plugs.

You’re really scraping the bottom of the barrel with these critiques. You have a hard job when the team is 5-1 in the last six and the key three are poppin off. Ironically, 88 is on pace for 116 points this year.

It’s a bunch of things, including what you wrote above about price and time.

I look at these ticket prices on the resale market, and I can get much better seats for much less money.

One of the big things about season seats is guaranteed access to playoff tickets, but the prices are so bloody high now, it’s hard to justify going to a game. I’d honestly prefer to go to a bar with friends.

And I’m certainly not as passionate as I used to be. Many will say that it’s because the Leafs have disappointed me for so long, but I honestly think it’s just me getting older. – Wedgie

Interesting what you said about the re-sale market and time. If you aren’t into seeing every game, or even most games, anymore, it certainly seems that the resale market might work better. From what I remember you are in the city or in close proximity, so you can probably do the last minute thing. (Tougher for me from Guelph).

As far as age, that is a thing. My dad used to tell me about it and I never really understood. I think that as you get older, you don’t get the same adrenaline rush and excitement. You also realize that none of it really matters in your life, even in the slightest. It all gets a little old.

You nailed it with the bar comment. Watching a game in a bar with friends or at a friends place is still fun, but it’s more about the company.

Another good night to buy Leafs tix.

    Looking right now – Sec 115, Row 14 Golds – $162.68 a ticket.

    The market is dead.

Will be very interesting to see what happens at renewal time.

I’ve been a season ticket holder for almost 30 years, and prior to this year, never considered giving them up.

As of today, I do not think I will renew.

Do you primarily remain a season ticket holder as something of an investment? Make money off the big ticket games, then go to less popular ones as your schedule permits?

You can’t make money off tix anymore – you haven’t been able to since Covid.

As per my multiple posts over the past few years, you lose money if you sell weekday games through Ticketmaster.
