already provided it in my previous post. You seem a bit unhinged and conspiracy laden so I don’t expect you to agree or understand really

    Like what?

    * anything other than the Flyers. Is that really a serious question. Do you honestly think the Flyers would be his best option? Would love to hear why in a detailed breakdown.

After hearing Michkov’s thoughts on Torts, I’m starting to think maybe he was the best thing for this team for the time. Really instilled things that he’ll take with him for years to come

I just don’t see how anyone could think Briere is not in charge at this point. no clue what they’re talking about.

Why on earth would Carle want to choose the Flyers? He will have better options. Does Denver play “Flyers” hockey?

Even though it’s becoming a pipedream, I think Carle is my top choice. I think the Flyers actually present one of the best opportunities for him to make the jump into the NHL. It serves as a great opportunity for a young coach with a young family to inherit a young team, but a close-knit and disciplined locker room. The Flyers could offer him 5 years and guarantee him at least 3, unless something cataclysmic happens. The travel is fantastic and the region is great for a young family, I think it’d be the ideal jump for him, better than most other teams (NYR, PIT the superstars are older than him, CHI supposedly lacks internal structure, ANA might be too young, etc).

But, with it increasingly likely he returns to college, I’m pretty cold on the other options. Shaw sounds good but will the guys play for him? Tocchet I’ve just not been sold on as a great coach. He won Cups as an assistant with great teams, and a Jack Adams with a great team. Fersch I’m not really sold on, and I’ve heard some things about him from guys who’ve done dev camps with that he may not be as driven and focused as we’d like. Quennville is a hard no IMO, too old, and too much of a PR distraction. I would have loved Sullivan but that’s gone.

    Can we tamper with Brind’Amour?

Off the top of my head, I think Bylsma was the AHL coach and Berube was an asst but took over mid-season, which tends to light a fire. Over the course of the offseason, it’s harder, I imagine. Guys will get it in their heads that training camp will become easier and it’s downhill from there. TBH if it’s Shawsy, I hope he still does the rope test and tries to catch guys off guard.’

edit: Berube was also the AHL coach before StL promoted him

Its hard to believe the decision will be all his seeing the moves Briere has made so far. None seem to be of his own doing.
