They made a good point on First Up that at least Woll got to get involved in the series with a 3 goal lead, that’s better than a backup usually gets.
This situation is an example of a great strength of the Leafs’, their goalie tandem.
If Woll goes in next game that is not a problem at all. Woll is capable. Having two guys you can win with is an amazing luxury in the NHL.
I think people got a little worked up over Woll last night, that poor guy must of gone into that game feeling tense as hell and still played pretty damn good and had some key saves. He’ll be far more ready for game 2 and look way better is my guess.
When Woll dialed in he can be very effective.
I think the best version of Woll is the better than best version of Stolarz, but his problem is consistency and staying healthy.

Leafs are lucky they have 1 win already Alex to afford Stoly the extra rest. To be fair here, up until the last few weeks of the season everyone had been questioning who would be the starter. Woll is quite capable so as a fan I have no issues.

Oh, I had no intention of paying Ek a bloody penny, it just seemed very weird the way things were worded on the screen that pops up when I tried to post. Good to finally have my release date in writing, with any luck I won’t have to go back to HB if we get this popping off. Almost 20 years of seniority just gone, lol.

I did post a snarky response to one of Ek’s blogs about Wedgies ban, and Ek responded saying bans weren’t his department… and then I was subsequently banned and both my and his posts disappeared, lol.
