I honestly feel no ill will towards Ek. I think the guy has a genuine passion for hockey, but is in above his head with running a busy website. The lack of communication between him, moderators, and other staff is wonky. Every large forum I have been a part of has a moderators-only forum where moderation decisions are discussed as a committee. None of this shit where the left hand doesn’t know what the right hand is doing. And there is clearly a lack of will to take basic measures to improve the situation, so I don’t know what to think of the guy. We have no idea what the guy might have on his plate in real life.
Other people can post both places too, but I did just drop the name of this place into the current Leaf thread. I’m gonna do my hockey talking here. EK is a joke, a clown and a goof.
