Its a very exciting time to be a Flyers fan. I cant remember the last time they had so many picks so high in a draft. Bill would you say this draft is very deep on “potential NHL level” players while not being very deep in terms of NHL “stars in the making?”

This is why I think they need to hit a home run at #6. Also why I still want them to draft Hagens at 6. A ppg at the collegiate level as a freshman for a big time college program is nothing to sneeze at. I feel like he didnt drop as much as other players just improved. Watching him at college and in the WJC’s I became enamored with his speed and play making ability. While I don’t think he is on the level of Michkov, I do see the similarity in that they were both considered to be the top prospect (or very near the top) for their draft class and fell due to circumstances not really of their making. And we would be crazy to pass up that blessing.

That is why I think that if Hagens is available you can not pass him up.

Seems weird (and a little insulting) to me that the Flyers are setting up for the draft in Atlantic City. Comcast is one of the largest telecom companies in the word. They are headquartered in Philadelphia and the team they own is in Philadelphia. Are other teams doing this? Why not setup at the stadium? Don’t they already have studios there?
