Looks like it’s being reported on social media today that the Rangers have given Pittsburgh this years 12th overall pick that they acquired from Vancouver in the Marcus Pettersson trade. The Rangers option. Boy, this could potentially turn into a disaster for the Canucks, they could’ve had a couple nice building blocks with the 12th and 15th overall picks instead of Marcus Pettersson. I guess we’ll see how this plays out in the years to come. Probably not good given the Canucks history of incompetence.
