BlockedYea they got a second too. Facts. Hard to follow I know. So they got 28ish OA and 55ish OA. In supposedly a better draft
Now they’ll have 1-2-3OA because they suck. Be happy! You live for these picks
There wasn’t a chance in hell they were trading for Sherwood. You obviously believe every slant in a bad way towards the genius 👨🎓
Suck each others dycks s’more🤣

ParticipantDrury was buying 2 weeks ago. At least still attempting to buy. He offered Othmann and a 2nd for Sherwood.
At least we got the 1st back from the Miller trade???? Ours was 12th overall, the one we got back will likely be 24+. Not even in the same conversation. You really are dense TJ.

ParticipantThe idea that you guys think they’d sill be contending with none of those guys gone is your crutch. Thats all you have. Meanwhile that team and those guys blew two years in a row of a real solid chance. Now 2 years later, with all these east teams much much better, to think we would’ve survived that is crazy. But they are basically two years into a rebuild already.
I’m excited to get a top 3 pick and not one time have you guys even brought that up 🤣that’s what they need more then anything because the previous top 3 pick they got lucky to get, sucks fat ass
Tj, Yes the Trophy means nothing to me but if you think that Drury was planning to rebuild this team after the were the best team in the league, you truly are crazy!!!

BlockedThis is it in a nutshell..the window closed faster than anyone expected. Including the org. The fans have a hard time accepting that, but it is what it is…and what has happen. At least Drury sees that, imagine he didn’t? And was still buying? Yea you guys would love that 🤣

BlockedI thought the Prez trophy means nothing? 🫣
If he is so what lol next time they contend the only players around will be Shesty and probably Fox. Everyone else is tbd imo. Who knows maybe miller eventually says trade him, Mika too.
Also this year I do think they planned on the playoffs, but Shesty and to a lesser degree Fox, both got hurt. You don’t wanna hear it but it did actually happen. So plans changed. They were still in the mix with plenty of season left when they got hurt, they just couldn’t score. 20-18-6 was the record before Shesty got hurt. You can ignore it, but the org didn’t. Also a few east teams really have broken through since then, which I’m sure pushed them even further to the point of being sellers now
Miller trade.. they gave them Chytil who can barely ever stay healthy, Mancini who can’t crack their lineup, nor would he crack ours, and a first. The made up for losing the first in that trade when they traded Kandre, and they got a first and second back. Imagine they didn’t have this years pick? Yea that would’ve been a disaster, but they have it. And another one and probably one more when Panarin goes. Maybe even more with a Trocheck trade. The picks will be plentiful

ParticipantYou know I’m not the biggest Fox supporter, but Gavrikov and he were really good top pair together. Gavrikov hasn’t nearly been the same with Schneider. I think Fox is the least of the problems now.
The cap space isn’t an issue anyway. They have 30 million in cap space next season. So it’s not like his 10 million could be spent elsewhere
Back to the 30 million…rangers are in a position to take on alot of cap dumps, punt next year again, get oodles of draft picks and move forward and start getting better in 27-28 season, hopefully with McKenna, Verhoeff or Stenburg. If you guys would just let him cook he may actually know what to do here. But you won’t lol
Ie- Manginoane an Montembault. They’ll need a back up goalie and Mtl will be desperate to dump his 3 million in salary. Lybushkin is another. IMO that’s where this is heading.
If you consider having the best team in the league and turning them into a laughing stock, he over cooked them.
If Drury really wanted to rebuild from last year, why bring in a 32yo Miller??? By the time this team would be contending again, Miller will be retired.

BlockedSince the KMiller and Soucy trade happen, that 3 picks they didn’t have prior to them. So it already started, gathering picks. Which to me is a good sign, as long as you forget the past. Like he’s got the right idea NOW..because he isn’t buying anymore
You figure 2 more with Panarin. Trocheck is up in the air, idk if he’ll 100% get traded. If he does that probably two more. IMO it’s too good of a return to keep him. Carrick should go too imo. Raddysh, Vaaks, Brod, etc..all could get mid rders.

BlockedHe set himself up with cap space. And in today’s world that a plus. The contracts we have on the books aren’t a hinderance in any way whatsoever. Matter of fact he probably can’t even use it all. At least next year he cant

BlockedIf only Mike Ridley and Kelly Miller for Bobby Carpenter didn’t happen🤣
What can you do? It’s definitely not healthy dealing with it like this. Move on🤷🏻♂️ I’d be willing to bet my house that they’ll have plenty of picks post TDL. Buckle up. You act like all these picks he traded were guaranteed successful picks.
I mean at the very least he isn’t buying. Which is where the past problems all lie. You just can’t accept (and Brukie) that the contending teams they had are being dismantled, when the were flawed teams to being with, masked by two good things..a goalie and a great PP. Otherwise they sucked. If you really look at it
It’s like ground hog day in here, ironically. You guys have to move on and heal. It’s crazy how you guys can’t let things go. He isn’t going anywhere for the gazillionith time. It isn’t happening
