This “Tank for Dupont” talk. You know the Canucks will pick 3OA at best. That’s just way way it is.

I can see the Flames & Hawks out tanking us.

We will see a very motivated Oilers team tonight. Levi in the net so no easy sieve to decaffeinate. How will the boys play in front of the home crowd could go a long ways on how the fans come out & support future games. Oilers out for revenge after playing like garbage is one thing but the Canucks knowing this will be their 1st big test. Not expecting another win but do expect to see more high energy & signs of growth. A good game to see emerging character & the systems & special teams settle in. Lastly stand up for each other with more crashing & banging. Make the Oil earn everything.

It was a mistake to give up on Podz so soon. That’s on RT who wouldn’t give him a fair shot. It reminds me of when AV didnt care for Grabner and Gillis traded him right after a 4 goal preseason game to make AV happy. Grabner went on that season… his first full season, to score 34 goals and had himself a very respectful career.

With that being said, I still take Boldy at the draft and even in a redraft today.

Drafted after Pod i’d take any of them before him.

    12 Minnesota Matthew Boldy
    16 Colorado Alex Newhook
    17 Vegas Peyton Krebs
    18 Dallas Thomas Harley

    More misses by Benning.

Good for Pod finding his place in the Arctic Tundra it’s similar to Siberia, he’s home.

Any normal person would select Boldy but the bunions on my toes are tingling and saying wait for these next two years to go by and see if you still feel the same. I have a wild hunch that one day Podz will score the cup winning goal.

Don’t care, I’m embracing the tank.
