Apparently Kaprisov’s camp may have turned down the minnie deal because they believe a bigger offer is out there from another team.
According to EF.I can’t believe he turned down that offer. Does he just not want to be there.
I sure hope that someone writes another article today about how the Leafs are still interested in Roslovic but have to trade Kampf and Jarnkrok and maybe Robertson.
That speculation has been the entire fvcking summer. Has there ever been a more boring off-season than this.

Sources say #mnwild superstar Kirill Kaprizov’s camp turned down an extension offer believed to be 8-years, $128 million in a meeting on Tuesday in Minnesota that would have made him the highest-paid player in #NHL history in both AAV ($16 million) and total dollars.i guess he could opt for a short deal now to get a bigger payday when the cap rises a bunch.

$17M per from Toronto but with Canadian Tire ponying up an extra 5M per year to advertise for them.
The Leafs rookies’ will play the Habs and Sens rookies this weekend.
