I really like Moore and Lardis together.

Worked very well together in a short stint in Rockford and glad to see them reunited on the big stage.

Spellacy vs Frondell tonight 5pm – which team gets the upper hand?! Will the young Swedes be mentally distracted in between periods with mass texts from the motherland as the clock strikes midnight and 2026 in Sweden just one hour into the game? Only time will tell…

Dickinson out for the 2nd and thought he looked really slow in the first so I’ll assume an LBI and not sure when it happened. Another centerman unavailable and Foligno has yet to take a FO since he came back.

Damn Arty can’t hit the broad side of the barn, don’t get any better chances than that other than an empty net

    That’s too bad

Big Save Dave got bailed out by a crappy point blank shot from 55. Real shit period for the flat-footed Hawks team. The energy and grit from the first 20 games has completely washed away.

Slopfest in our zone and communication has been an issue it seems. 44 lost the puck and 55 was lost even tho he was close to the play and couldn’t help his partner. 55 still seems lost more often than not below the blueline.

How about Vaclav Nestrasil winning that board battle behind the Canada net and passing it out as the secondary assist on that game leading 3-3 goal?

He won a FO draw in the Ozone in early 2nd period and fired a shot at Carter George that nearly took his head off. At the end of the period, he absolutely crushed Reid in the boards behind Canada’s net. He is a monster!

Frondell looking good firing the puck on the powerplay. 1G/1A through 2. The Hawks should have some good shooters on the powerplay next year with Frondell Kantserov and Lardis along with Bedard and Nazar. That’s a lot of skill right there!

Looked great today and hope to see him step up like that vs Czech/Fins/Canada/USA. Czech vs Canada has been a treat thus far notched at 3-3 through nearly two frames. Nestrasil is a monster on the ice!

Brutal finish. Chasing all 3rd period and good teams like that will make you pay. Crevier looking like his old 7th d-man self again. Move your damn feet Louis!

Hawks have to get some chip and chase in their zone going the rest of the way. Too much time in the dzone and neutral ice.

Gritty 2nd period and Hawks grinded that out with blue collar defense and hustle. Leafs had possession for long stretches and Hawks kept denying. Knight, Nazar, and Mik were warriors all period. Let’s do it again in the 3rd boys!

My Christmas wish, Quinn Hughes doesn’t resign in Minnesota after this trade.
Or they pay him $17 million per year.

I will say the Nucks did very well in that trade. Not a Rossi fan but gets them someone up the middle for years to come but the big addition is Buium and that 2026 1st. And yes, I’d really like to see Hughes walk from Minnesota over the Jersey when his current deal is up.
