Participantima start my own site called Hockeybuzz hotstove
That sounds like a lot of work…

Participantwhat was the answer?
– BingoThe answer, always, was “next year.”

ParticipantIt hasnt been that bad at the other site lately….and the person responsible for most of the conspiracy-laden political diatribe is now here as well….and already started.
As for the random bans…..dunno..never came across any myself…but I rarely go into non leafs blogs or call out EK in any blog. – FakesieI got banned for replying to Ek in his thread – after Ek said that my comment was “a good point.”
And I reached out to Ek and Kevin Allan – neither had the courtesy to reply to me.
It looks, feels and smells like it is days away from disappearing.

Participanti have no interest in doing that much work to post
– SenstrollSenstroll is the HockeyHotStove version of Marner.

ParticipantSo this is where the cool people were hiding!
It’s like Hockeybuzz Robidas Island.

ParticipantIf McDavid wants to come ..he’ll come. Moldover is the agent for both McDavid and Matthews so the discussions would be easy.
That said …I doubt he’s looking to leave unless he brings the Oilers a cup this year?
We need to get Mrs. Pronger and Mrs. McDavid to become BFFs.

ParticipantSome context for the upcoming free agent spend-off …
Nylanders 11.5M on a $88M cap translates to …
12.5M on a 95.5M cap
13.6M on a 104M cap
14.8M on a 113M capNext summer, if McDavid signs an extension, it’s going to be north of $17M. His current % would translate to $18.8M.
It’s going to be interesting to see if the cap projections remain. There’s certainly dark clouds on the economic horizon that make the cap raises look in doubt – Bettman said something to this effect a ways back.

ParticipantThe move to make is obvious – who they make that move with is up to the Leafs but letting a UFA walk to get the space seems a lot easier and less messy than trading a player with a multi year deal they are in the very early stages of – at least to me.
They aren’t letting Marner walk.
He’s already left the relationship.

ParticipantHeading down to the game.
A couple just got on the subway.
She is wearing an autographed Bryan McCabe jersey, and he is wearing a Jarnkrok jersey.
How franking random is that?
Atomic Wedgie
ParticipantFor comparison, cheapest seats for tonight’s Jets @ Stars game is $146 USD per seat.
Atomic Wedgie
ParticipantEarly market: cheapest pair of tickets for tomorrow night’s game is $638 per ticket.
For $3,313 each, you can sit on the glass next to the Leafs’ bench.

ParticipantFans were absolutely horrible in Game 5 from the start.
This is incorrect.
Source: I was there.
Pro-tip: if you’ve never been to a Leafs game, you have no idea what the crowd noise was like.
Was the Nobleton Legion Hall loud?

ParticipantYou know I still love you
You knew I’d never change
And it’s been five long years and I love you

ParticipantDo you think there was an offer on the table for Marner to sign? If anything, I’d imagine MLSE was waiting to see how the playoffs went before giving him all the money x8 and trade protection.
From what I heard on the radio (so take it with a grain of salt), MLSE wanted to get a deal done before the trade deadline. Marner’s camp said they weren’t talking new contracts until after the season, so MLSE felt they needed to protect themselves by trading him.

ParticipantWow, I didn’t think I would see Leeman on anyone’s list!
