i guess it’s not pro. pros raced there but i was just there on nights when normal people paid to race their cars. my 1982 toyota corolla took like 22 seconds to get through the quarter mile. i thought it would never get there.

it was called atco raceway but it’s closed now.

So if you want to go with the original criteria, it’s kinda “any sporting event where you had to pay admission – and hopefully be able to buy a souvenir pint glass to prove you were there.”

Getting tickets for free still counts – as long as they had some sort of monetary value.

I would not have believed Marner would walk for nothing, until recently. It would surprise no one if he decided he was done with the circus and the failure and wanted a new start.

My uneducated guess is that management asking him to waive his NTC changed everything – the organization has no loyalty to him, so why should he feel any loyalty to MLSE?

    He’s gone.

I wont be watching the game but Marner and matthews have an opportunity to change the narrative around them.
If the leafs lose, get rid of both.

Until I hear otherwise, I strongly believe that Matthews is hurt.

I was at the game where Winfield hit the seagull. Only people who were there will know what Winfield did the next inning. – Aethsie

Numerous curling events in Edmonton. Which if I do say these are the best events. See the guys all liquored up in the Brier patch and then curling 2 hours later.

I really want to go to a darts competition. It looks like the rowdiest sporting event out there.

I am in no mood to discuss the Leafs right now, but I started a thread in “The Locker Room” section – I invite you all to participate.

I had a good time trying to remember a lifetime of sporting events I have attended.

Worst Leafs playoff game I have ever witnessed, and that goes back a long time.

I was the biggest believer in continuing to hold onto our assets.

    Sorry, last night broke me.

    Marner is gone.

    Tavares is gone.

I can’t franking believe we gave up a 1st rounder to rent Laughton.

Next year will be a huge step backwards, but it’s better than the horrific inertia this team has made me suffer through for the past eight years.

FFS, how can you put forth such little effort last night?

First playoff game in Leafs’ history where I have seriously considered leaving after two.

    Kids want to stay.

    Honestly?

    I’d prefer to bail.

People leaving from the platinums. $2000 out the window.

They aren’t leaving the building. They are going to lounges and suites to drink and eat on company tabs.

It just means more MLSE $$$$

    Domi has to go.

He’s like Kadri, but without the talent.
