<p class=”userway-s15-active” data-userway-s15-styled=”true” style=”font-family: UDF, serif !important; transition: all;”>Was interesting to see Arty leading the D men in ice time through two periods.
I believe he was 2nd only behind Vlasic.

<p class=”userway-s15-active” data-userway-s15-styled=”true” style=”font-family: UDF, serif !important; transition: all;”>Rinzel got the sheltered zone starts, and had a solid game.

<p class=”userway-s15-active” data-userway-s15-styled=”true” style=”font-family: UDF, serif !important; transition: all;”>Bedard’s FO numbers up to 48%,not bad considering how bad he started the 1st few games of the season.

<p class=”userway-s15-active” data-userway-s15-styled=”true” style=”font-family: UDF, serif !important; transition: all;”>The overhead view on Greene’s dish to Bedard and Bedard’s wrist shot is pretty insane.

<p class=”userway-s15-active” data-userway-s15-styled=”true” style=”font-family: UDF, serif !important; transition: all;”>Some weird stats out there
I think the Kings only have 6 regulation wins, and have played 13 games on the road and only 7 at home!
Montreal and San Jose – both doing well in the standings, but both have a lot of OT wins.

    <p class=”userway-s15-active” data-userway-s15-styled=”true” style=”font-family: UDF, serif !important; transition: all;”>I think I’m in the minority when I say I hate 3 on 3 OT hockey

I hate 3 on 3 and the shootout. Can’t say what would be better but wouldn’t want anything over a 10 min. OT.

Anybody else think Bedard got tripped before his empty netter?

I want to see the Nazar and Moore off to the races play 5 times a game.

    <p class=”userway-s15-active” data-userway-s15-styled=”true” style=”font-family: UDF, serif !important; transition: all;”>re: Crevier rumors

<p class=”userway-s15-active” data-userway-s15-styled=”true” style=”font-family: UDF, serif !important; transition: all;”>It’s very unlikely that Crevier is traded for another D. (unless an AHL depth D-man is included as a minor part)
That means the current roster goes to 6 defensemen.
Any injury (Murphy’s chronic groin problem is due to make an appearance) would drop them to 5 current guys.
That tells me Crevier is traded *only* if the team is 100.00000% certain that one of KK, EDM, Allan can, at minimum,
replace what Crevier is giving the Hawks so far this year.
Also: Crevier is a right shot, the other 3 are all left shot.

    <p class=”userway-s15-active” data-userway-s15-styled=”true” style=”font-family: UDF, serif !important; transition: all;”>Are those guys ready?
I’ve checked around, it seems that all 3 are at least “doing well” in RFD this season.
Does anyone here watch a lot of RFD games? Interested in hearing about their performance.
    (cough new Frenchy article cough)

    <p class=”userway-s15-active” data-userway-s15-styled=”true” style=”font-family: UDF, serif !important; transition: all;”>🤘

We’ll be sorry for years if we trade the big guy. He’s decent defensively, nobody F’s with him and his right shot is vicious.

<p class=”userway-s15-active” data-userway-s15-styled=”true” style=”font-family: UDF, serif !important; transition: all;”>Kirby Dach injured again, 4-6 weeks with a broken foot.

    What took him so long?

<p class=”userway-s15-active” data-userway-s15-styled=”true” style=”font-family: UDF, serif !important; transition: all;”>I read today Larry Brooks NYC hockey writer died at 75. I loved beating the pants off of him during mock draft season.
I am also 75.Should I start thinking about my mortality?

<p class=”userway-s15-active” data-userway-s15-styled=”true” style=”font-family: UDF, serif !important; transition: all;”>(Or as Steve from Glencoe said to me a week ago, “You want to wait until you’re 80 when the Blackhawk team actually is good?)

<p class=”userway-s15-active” data-userway-s15-styled=”true” style=”font-family: UDF, serif !important; transition: all;”>I just drove up to Chicago from the funeral of a dear friend and fellow Math teacher. We were assigned to the same school in 1972. We bought highly expensive plane tickets when we finally knew the date of the funeral, but last Friday the airline could guarantee the King wouldn’t cancel the flight, son we got in the car and drove up for the funeral this last snowy Monday.
Currently South of Atlanta on my way back to St. Petersburg, FL.

<p class=”userway-s15-active” data-userway-s15-styled=”true” style=”font-family: UDF, serif !important; transition: all;”>Even though the outcome was one HAWK point, there was plenty of hitting by the Hawks and plenty of continuing upside.
Although I am the guy who still wants to win one more lottery, i thing there will soon reach a high water mark in the standings and then level of in one of the 18 slots the teams not going to Lord Stanley’s Cup slot into…

I think about my immortality every time I pay the life insurance premium.

Articles out there on Chicago moving Crevier. If we do we won’t just give him away. I think Murphy is more likely to be moved. I wonder how many scouts are watching Rockford games?

<p class=”userway-s15-active” data-userway-s15-styled=”true” style=”font-family: UDF, serif !important; transition: all;”>We were pretty lucky to get a point out of that one. Knight continues to be the team MVP. As of right now, we have the highest SV% in the NHL, second best shooting% and you have to think that will course correct a bit more. NJ is just a deeper and more skilled overall team at this point.

I think we have some young guys who are simply above average shooters. Hopefully it holds.

<p class=”userway-s15-active” data-userway-s15-styled=”true” style=”font-family: UDF, serif !important; transition: all;”>I was hoping they would extend Mik but then Frenchy reminded me he’s 32 years old. Really enjoy his brand of hockey but i got a feeling if things continue the way they are we will hold on to him till the end of the season unless someone actually offers a 2027 1st round pick which i doubt.

<p class=”userway-s15-active” data-userway-s15-styled=”true” style=”font-family: UDF, serif !important; transition: all;”>I think Dickinson is traded by the dead line.

He’s still got jump. I wonder if 2x$3.5 would get it done?

in reply to: Blackhawks 2025-2026 General Comments #48229

How’d we ever trade for Mik if he has a 12 team no trade list?
