ParticipantTen games in last year, the Flyers were 3-6-1. This year, they’re 6-3-1. The turnaround has been remarkable.

ParticipantThrough 9 games they’re kind of in the muddle middle area we all thought they’d be in. There’s a new coach and new systems to learn, and there’s a serious lack of high-end talent, but they’re managing to hang around and be tough to play against, which can be both fun and boring to watch. Let’s Go Flyers!!!

Participantprove it
I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but Tavares has only been top 10 once in the past ten years, 2017 he finished 8th in voting.

ParticipantWow, this is a fun team to watch! A quicker turnaround from a rebuild than most teams I’ve seen. Well done to Armstrong and crew for that.

ParticipantSurprising start for the geriatric Penguins, Fly boys will need a strong performance tonight, easy to get up for the Penguins though.

ParticipantNever been a fan of this kid, but he’s playing well so far for the team.

ParticipantObviously for the best. Hopefully he can work on his offensive game down there.
He obviously wasn’t working on it in the NHL being benched or playing on the 4th line. Shame on the Flyers for that.
The article makes it sound like the Flyers are helpless bystanders in all of this. It was DB’s decision to sign him to a professional contract immediately which is why he can’t play in college and if he’s not good enough to play in the NHL, the rest doesn’t matter.
Poor decision making all around. He knew the rules when he drafted Jett, he knew the rules when he signed Jett. If you want to lament that Jett can’t play in the AHL, then shame on DB for knowingly drafting a player ineligible to play in the AHL for his first 2 years.
It was his decision to let this kid embarrass himself on the ice last year and to basically waste a month of the kid’s time again this year. If he doesn’t like his choices he should’ve drafted someone else.
Too much drama in here associated with him and the Flyers. They gave him another chance to showcase himself and it didn’t work out, there’s also nothing wrong with going back and playing Junior at 19 years old, he just turned 19 August 21st. Last season he only played 46 games in Junior, 9 in the AHL and 4 in the NHL, go down and play a lot of minutes and get better. I don’t know what the big deal is from a fan perspective, this is still a very young kid.
