ParticipantI spent one summer working Mon, Tues, Thurs, Friday 10 hour shifts, and to be honest, I kind of enjoyed it.
But it was hard labour intense work, so my body likely appreciated the mid-week break.
a 10 hour shift would kill me. i would feel like that’s just taking forever. but i am very weird about time. i always feel like i’m in a hurry. some days i hurry my ass off to get home and then when i get there i’m like, “hmm, wednesday night. there’s nothing to even do!”

ParticipantYeah, mom moved in with us a several years ago when she was going through her cancer surgery / clinics, she has the self-contained master on the main floor and my old office across the hall as her sitting / tv/ craft room. So she has her own space, if she wants it.
We have set up on the second floor, one room as an office and the other our bedroom.
very nice!
*high fives*

ParticipantNot much, dealing with spotty internet.
Was going to take my mom to the Remembrance Day ceremonies this morning, but she did not want to be out in the snow storm with her bad hip and already has a cold.
So early morning hot chocolate and TV viewing.
i was just in the reception area talking to holly about cable and internet.
we both have youtube tv and had to get a free trial of fubo or some shit last night to watch the eagles because disney/abc/espn and youtube are fighting right now.
take care of your mom! is she older? i’m pretty big on taking care of our elderly. kids, dogs, and old people. those are hte people i worry about.

ParticipantMax Lalonde just announced that next year, 15 #GoHabsGo games will be broadcast exclusively on Crave.
These 15 games will be covered by the RDS team.
So, RDS will have the 45 regional games and 15 other games will be on Crave. Bell Media will make the announcement next week.
It was only a matter of time before this happened, but now #GoHabsGo is heading to the digital platform.
well they need to send someone to every elderly hab fans house to explain it to them.
i know our oldheads down here do not want streaming. they want to watch cable tv like they used to. with a wired clicker on their lap.

ParticipantSlavin is better than nothin!!!

i don’t mind it. some days i’m pretty busy but most days that aren’t at the end of the month i have hours that go by with no work to do so i can’t really complain.
so what’s it like to move to a whole new country? that must be amazing.
