It isn’t worth it, but the thing is comped and I get some burgers and see some friends. 4am-11pm is a good day to die hard. Thankfully I am on my ass 90% of the day.

ParticipantI am mildly optimistic Laine and Dach can work well together and have somewhat productive seasons.
If they are mediocre, I think that will be acceptable…
But I also more realistic with the expectation that by mid-November, the Habs could blow that line up and juggle things around over and over for the rest of the year.
Sounds like a tandem that teams would love out there with first change.

ParticipantI managed to actually write a blog! Yay!

ParticipantI would wait, esp dealing another 1st. See how the team plays to start the season. Unless some great deal fell into their lap.
The should have more cap space than they ever have. Another top 6 forward is prob the need. but other needs might pop up half way into the season
~senstrolltwoAt this point, I’m happy for the Leafs to wait to make any more moves. They have a bit of cap space, they have some players that should be fairly easy to move out if needed, save as much capital for the trade deadline as possible. If you move out Kampf, Jarny, Robertson, and picks to get a player that doesn’t pan out, you’ve handcuffed yourself at the TDL. Keep as much flexibility as possible.
Is this team, as constructed, going to win the division? Almost certainly, no. Is this team one, maybe two TDL moves away from being a real problem in the playoffs? I think so.
Season will be decided by the goaltending. If Stolarz is still statistically the second best performing goalie behind Hellebuyck and Woll is healthy and good, they’ll be a strong team again. Maybe not division winners, but there’s no clear regular season* favourites for the Atlantic.
