Participanthe’s already been weird again since my last post. he’s just always weird.
he came to the door of my office, looking his usual downtrodden, desheveled self but he looked up and saw i was laughing with kristen from upstairs and he instantly spun and left like he was coming in here to be miserable and it upset him that it seemed like a bad time for that.

i actually would feel terrible for him if they fired him. i can’t imagine he can actually hold a job for a normal company. they won’t put up with him.
Awwww… look at you ready to go all Rambo for the guy!

ParticipantWho is Meathead?
Kick’s best friend and lunch buddy.
Kick would quit his job if they ever fired Meathead.
And likely go postal, doing so.

Participantthat’s kind of my point, I don’t find the league does a very good job at maintaining and/or creating rivalries, I’ll still watch every game but 82 was already plenty.
I guess I’d rather see them play the Kraken in October, when I am hyped about the season starting, than in January / February, when I don’t think I’d care to even watch the game.
Pushing out division or conference games til later in the season, like the Bruins only in November, is fine with me…. more of those games in Jan / Feb / March the better.
Also, this is not 100% on the NHL, this is also on building availability – most of these arenas are multi purpose and hold other regular events, too. Not defending the schedule, but that is just a reality.

Participantbah, the habs’ home opener is against the Kraken, and they aren’t playing the Booins until the end of November, I doubt the league will start planning out things in a better way with even more games.
A better team for home opener would be ideal, but I do prefer watching more division games / conference games later in the season.
Makes the run to the playoffs more fun, at least, to me.
