what’s going on today, friend?
i think i’m getting a cold but i’m just ignoring it. i tested and it isn’t covid so i’m just going to act like it isn’t happening.
today is mr.softee day. he has 3 buildings to stop at here so i’m going to try to get ice cream 3 times (not really, i won’t even go out there once).

in a few months we move to a large office that they’re making out of our old showroom. i am hoping i’ll be in a better hiding place and can do puzzles then. my old office when i was in logistics was huge and out of the way and nobody ever even knew i was back there. this current office i have is right in the middle of everything. the reception area is right outside my door. everybody has to walk by here to go anywhere.

My cat does not really cry, but she talks all day (not in a whiney shrill voice, but in well a calm conversational meow) and waits for me to reply back.

i just looked and i was wrong. we totally do get down into the 50s at night. this is great. yesterday my drink wasn’t even dripping condensation all over my desk.
Yeah, this is my preferred weather range, but my body needs to adjust after the long hot summer.
50-60 in the AM, 70-75 in the PM is ideal.
we’ve been having a nice break too. i don’t think it has been down to the 50s at night here yet but we don’t even get up to 80 all week according to my phon
Got up for my regular morning walk… was in the low 50s.
Felt like an idiot walking around in shorts and a t-shirt.
Had to close the window in my office because it was too cold (cat was also complaining, too cold to watch the birds with the window open)!
