    So apparently starting in 2026…

      A playoff salary cap
84-game regular season (less pre-season games)
      Shorter max term contracts

Will be interesting to see how this looks, when finalized.

Denis Villeneuve is an amazing director.

Is it possible to delete one of our post?

Everything you post will last forever.

JJ Peterka dealt to Utah for Michael Kesselring and Josh Doan.

    #TusksUp re-signs JJ Peterka to a five-year deal at a 7.7M AAV

    The forever rebuild continues….

Noticed that the main thread listing does not go beyond 24 pages, once the thread has passed that….

    They did not anticipate us.

    Pat said:

hey, you’re the one who was taking the time to add people’s usernames, and an action (“Pat exclaimed”… etc.), so…

Not gonna lie, miss it a little.

so there seems to be a maximum number of times you can quote the same conversation or something

    Yeah, seems like it.

Maybe if you edit it down and get rid of the quotes from people you want to exclude… ie: delete everything but the latest quote.

Not desperate enough to try though.

    LOL.

Button says the Habs will draft:

    #16 – LW Malcom Spence
#17 – RW Alexander Zharovsky (seems like a reach)

Constantino says the Habs will draft:

No. 16 Montreal Canadiens (from CGY): Lynden Lakovic, LW, 6-foot-4, 190 pounds, Moose Jaw Warriors (WHL)

Having just four PIMs is a red flag for a player his size and he was questioned about it in just about every interview at the NHL Combine. Physicality may never be a strong suit for Lakovic, but his skating and puck skills are too good to pass on here.

No. 17 Montreal Canadiens: Jack Nesbitt, C, 6-foot-4, 185 pounds, Windsor Spitfires (OHL)

A steady riser all season long, Nesbitt addresses a need for size in the organization. He’s got great hands, a nose for the net, and can ramp up the nastiness when needed.

Not sure both of them are available or if we even keep both 1st rounders.

would be interesting to know what he answered then lol…

“yeah, I’m a big dude but I don’t like being touched by strangers unless it is in a strange place and it is very dark”.

    Fixed.

If they can get Bennet for cheap, sure. Will that happen? Nope.

    Tavares is much more likely

I think he is the ideal person to get, but I do not think he comes to Montreal.

    He will be with Toronto.

Giroux a 37 ans, en fin de carrière, il jouait pour les sens… personnellement je m’en passerais lol.

Yeah, I’d rather give Dach a 3rd or 4th (or how many ever chances he has had) shot at it before that signing.

Im all for trying Demidov at C at camp

sure why not. sign Giroux to take faceoffs and play wing like he was doing on OTT.

that sounds like a plan “E” or “F” lol.

    F for fail….

and Granlund is 5’10 185 lbs. pass

I’m not worried about his size, but he did a good job with the kids in San Jose and I think he would do well helping Demidov.

IT is a stop-gap signing if they cannot get someone else or they have an eye on something down the road.

Kings GM Ken Holland, who has been working the phones a lot lately, believes we’ll see a lot of trades over the next few days through the Draft. Whether the Kings get in on the action: “We’ll see.”

    This could be fun!
