@ Mash : I would expect Tavares to go to a contender or another market than montreal. Its his last big contract as well.

    Normally, I would agree.

But most of the big contenders have no cap (or barely enough cap to sign their own players).

Will be interesting to see… still think 90& he ends up staying with the Leafs.

Looks like the Leaf’s and Tavares are going through a break up.

Wonder if the Habs can swoop in and pick him up for a few years.

i won’t even answer the door unless they have a bucket of ice to dump down the back of my shirt.

I pretty much hate/have zero patience for most people, so this might work out for me.

Guys, it is damn hot out there already.

All I did was answer the door for a delivery and I never want to go outside again.

it’s the heat isn’t it? the heat killed all my great friends on the internet. damn you, mother nature, damn you.

It will all dissipate by tomorrow… but it really ruins a public holiday. We were planning to go out and do something fun, but it is just too damn hot.

he is in the mix at 3 for the hawks. according to the local beats, he has his supporters amongst the scouting staff.

    So…. athletic supporters.

    Bollocks.

    (I will show myself out.)

if misa falls to 3, make the call, send the text, skype or use whatever method is required to grab misa ASAP

Most lists have him at #2, but I have seen him at 3 or 4.

Again, a good problem to have 🙂

No, not really. I think the hawks are leaning frondell.

Yeah, tough pick between him and Misa, there are no losers on that count.

I think Frondell will be the better center, not sure if they are trying to do like the Oilers, have two top centers or if they want to overload with Bedard where Misa might look pretty good.

Here is McKenzie’s Final Draft Ranking.

I don’t think there are any surprises.

Some big guys in the Habs pick range, if they keep them, still think they will go with one safe/BPA pick and one swing-for-the-fences kinda pick.

They have 36 million in cap space… there was lots of room to sign Marner to a crazy stupid amount of money deal without moving Zegras.

Based on the return, they just wanted him gone.

    ty, friend.

i really only know his name. never knew much about him.

Likely a decent chance this turns out ok to good, and if not, only cost for Poehling, a 2nd and a 4th.

    So not terrible.

is he bad? i don’t watch their games since they stole the color orange.

Was a highly rated prospect (9th pick, 2019) that had a few decent years (65-ish points), but has been mostly injury plagued that last few seasons, and when healthy, has not shown much improvement.

His weakness is his defensive play and is terrible in face-offs.

Maybe if he is fully recovered, and in a new place, he can bounce back.
