Participantyup, if the timing was better then it could make sense to part ways with more important picks and prospects… who gives a poop about those if you have a shot at winning the cup?
Gonna be exciting when the Habs are ready to take that gamble…
Mash
Participantyeah, same here, I’d be willing to offer some sort of interesting package, but in the end you’re only getting something like 3 more years of good hockey from Crosby, after that he’ll probably be damn close to retiring, so selling the whole farm wouldn’t make a lot of sense…
but yeah, it would be epic AF, the fans and media would absolutely go insane lol.
Would be 100% if they were a Crosby away from being a true top cup contender, just not there yet.
Mash
Participanthey man, I only want what’s best for everyone…
Imagine how insane it would be if the pulled that off?
I think it would be cool, but I would not sell all the assets to make it happen.

Participantand kinda like Pittsburgh, they’re probably at the point where they should contemplate trading those vets while they still have any value.
you aren’t maximizing your assets and helping your team if you’re just keeping them until they retire or their contracts expire…
You really want Crosby on the Habs… ????

Participanttl;dr

Participantlike 3 days a week he awkwardly asks me if i can pitch for the phillies tonight.
he stands in the doorway to my office making me uncomfortable as he searches for something to say to start a conversation and then he fails to come up with anything and just says that.
Be a damn human being, he just wants to be your friend and thinks you are cool.
Hug it out with him.
You will feel better.
Real bros.

Participantpretty excited to see him play, I think he’s going to quickly become a fan favorite.
I think this was a very great sneaky move.
I think it might turn out to be their best move so far (especially cost vs results).
Mash
ParticipantI hate this…
????Once you get use to it, you realize it is 100% better and more flexible than HB.

Participantthank you for your input Mr.Bergevin, but I think you should focus on how things are going in LA, they need your help
I do not really think Bolduc is a long-term option there, but he might be there for part of the season if injuries or other players are not performing.
I highly doubt he is their first (or even second) option.
