The stat I’m looking for is probably not available at all. (I’m probably the only person who even cares lol)
For example, last night the Hawks played 48:44 of the game with a 1 or 0 goal differential.
My point is, I think there were dozens of hours of game time in the past 2 seasons where the Hawks were down 2 goals or more.
No matter what you might say about how “it toughens you up” it’s better imo if they spend more minutes in each game with the game in doubt.the important thing is they play games that matter very late into the season

I wish I could find a stat that shows how many total minutes during the last 2 seasons the Hawks were:
tied
down 1 goal
up 1 goalThen compare it to this season.
The wins and potential playoff positioning is very, very important.
But so is the simple experience of spending more minutes in each game that matter.guys who might get moved due to the sheer number of bodies who will be “NHL ready” and not enough NHL spots.
Agree, there will be successful prospects who get moved.
Something also to keep in mind, Lucas Reichel was not the last “Lucas Reichel”.
There *WILL* be more highly touted prospects who cannot make the jump to the NHL.
Nobody hits anywhere near 100%.
You could argue that Korchinski is in danger of becoming the next Reichel (I’m not there yet)wouldn’t want anything over a 10 min. OT.
Longer in-season OT has been suggested buy callers/emails in Friedman’s podcast a few times.
