Trading Reichel for a 4th ,bit of a head scratcher .
1) Reichel has played poorly, is not part of their future.
2) They opened up a roster spot that can be used for youngsters in the AHL who are waiver exempt.
3) Allows a RFD shuttle system to reward good play and figure out who might be ready for the NHL.postgame hot takes:
Knight is not only good, he is smart.
Arty made a good defensive play in the 3rd. Possibly his first of year.
Rinzel is very good, will get better, but made some youngster type plays tonight.
Tampa sucks really bad. What a shame.It is 100% certain that Knight is masking a lot of problems on this team.

That absolutely cannot happen.Not sure Foligno *had to* take that penalty, but it was not a dumb penalty.

I emailed Bill Meltzer requesting private messaging.
He replied that they don’t allow it because on some previous site it became abused.
People were hitting PMs to attack each other.It seems like that could be avoided by adding it and setting the default to “off” but it’s his site so….
And, I forget how long the kid is tied to his club and allowed to leave Putin’s Russia?
He is in the final year of his current contract.
