My favorite Habs for years. Such a smart player.
Suzuki reminds me of him but as a forward. Both very smart, both low key guys outside of the rink, both lead their teams with their play on the ice and very good to create plays on the ice. Good at both end of the ice.
Both underrated, but people are now waking the fuck up with Suzuki.
At times Markov just ended up in front of the net of the other team and he was wide open to put it in. I think Scott Niedermayer had that trick as well in his tool box.
