You can’t win the Stanley Cup at the deadline, but you sure can lose it. And boy o boy no team has lost it worse than the Canadiens have this year… a deadline so bad they may never recover from it. Prospects are nice, but eventually these prospects become suspects and you left a wide open east alone because you got high off your own supply. Many experts are suggesting to start another rebuild after this disastrous performance.
