Participantthis quote option really is a pain in the ass, tabarnak.

Participantagreed, with all things considered I highly doubt that Hughes would be offering a multi-year deal anyway, so the “risk” would be indeed minimal.

ParticipantI would also agree, better try Dach one last time than sign the russian
having both options might not be such a turrible thing either.

ParticipantHe’s a useful bottom 6 centre that will help them for a year, they have the cap space to overpay him to make sure they get him. I see no issue with it aside from the fact the Flyers should still be looking to acquire top 5 picks instead of trying to improve so I don’t understand what Brière is trying to do by bringing him in.
well, to be fair Dvorak doesn’t necessarily represent a significant enough improvement to keep the team out of a lottery spot for next year lol

ParticipantI hate this site
gotta say, I’m not a huge fan either lol

ParticipantWe have a guy called Nick Suzuki
yeah, I have a feeling they’ll wait for Hage to make the team instead of selling the farm for a #2C
well, it could make sense if there’s a deal to be made for an established 2C without having to give up a ton of prospects, but there’s no point in overpaying either since the team isn’t in “win now” mode yet..

ParticipantYeah … images can be a pain as sometimes they are much too big.
I think you can add a prompt in the post’s code to resize it but it would have to be done manually every time, ideally the images should be automatically resized for the chat when they’re too big,

Participantso you can’t quote images, but it seems to be working fine for text at least.

ParticipantI hate this quote function lol.
Acceptance is the first step….
meh, I’ll probably end up just posting less, it’s annoying.

Participanti miss when KFC used to be good.
is it because it stopped being good, or because people’s standards have changed and everyone realized it was oily slop..?

ParticipantHabs trade Primeau to Carolina for a 7th round pick.
really…?
ugh. I always liked Primeau and still hope he does well, but now there’s also a part of me who wants him to fail miserably.

ParticipantThe quote plug-in has been added to reply to a specific post.
thank you for adding the plug-in, Bill.
not sure if you received any feedback on it yet but there seems to be an issue with the number of times you can quote and continue the same conversation with someone, it always includes all of the previous quotes, and I think after 3 the quote option simply does nothing when you click submit… ideally it should just show the post you’re directly quoting, not all the previous ones, and for an unlimited number of times (my humble opinion).
also, the “reply” option is still there, but does it do anything?
Part or all of a previous reply can be taken out with quoting it. The reply option takes you to the reply section but doesn’t quote it. It’s functional but still a little clunky.
thanks for the quick reply.
I think it would be preferable if posters didn’t have to manually remove it every time, and also if they could quote a conversation as many times as they want because the glitch is kind of annoying, but perhaps that’s just me.
