Looks like things got lively here the past few days!
I was away in Magog for work but I’m glad to see so many of the old bunch of
loserspals here!i just figured out why it was logging me out. i turned off my ublock origin and now it’s fine. i guess we don’t need adblockers on this site like we did at the dwayne’s house of lies anyway.
I’m currently watching the last season of “invincible” on prime.
It’s pretty damn good.
If you haven’t watched Shoresy on Crave yet, you HAVE to watch it.
Also, just a PSA about WordPress and plugins: make sure you are regularly updating it, plugins especially. WP Security, WordFence, etc. are good add-ons, as is CloudFlare for botnet protection.
Have you looked at this? Been around for a long time.
I have no idea what that is and I’m very unfamiliar with WordPress but if you have suggestions to improve the site, there’s a thread in the “locker room” section where you can share it.
I’m not involved in how the site works (which is a good thing), I only contribute as a poster/blogger 🙂

According to the media, Tre had been shopping Marner since last off season, no one wanted him without an extension…marner wasnt gonna sign one.
I agree Tre isnt that great at making trades, his past deadline moves were huge overpayments…mainly the laughton one. -kicksave856I have nothing but good things to say about how Mike and Bill have handled things with their contributors. If they show the same dedication towards improving the site/forums, this place will be great in to time. 🙂

I agree Tre isnt that great at making trades, his past deadline moves were huge overpayments…mainly the laughton one.Thing is, trying to trade Marner only after his no-trade clause kicked in was a waste of time. I don’t blame Tre for it, it’s all on Shanahan, but once he was stuck with him, I guess he did overpay on the short term trades to make sure he’d have one last chance at winning with the “core 4”.
I did like the Carlo trade though, that’s a useful player moving forward regardless of the cost.

they’re in no hurry unlike for the #2C spot imo. they could very well start with Hutson on the right side and see how it goes, give some time to Reinbacher. maybe add at the tdl or next summer if needed. -fidoproThe more I think about it, the more I think trading for and extending Andersson would be absolutely perfect. Right now, the only way is to copy/paste the quote and use “B-Quote” on it.
We’re still at the early stages of this website so I’m sure it’ll improve sooner than later.

I also think Reinbacher will have every chance to make the team next season. From what I’ve seen in Laval, he’s been very good but if you pair him up with a Xhekaj or Struble on the other side, I’m not convinced it gives you a reliable pairing from the get go.
If the right veteran player is available at a cost Montreal can afford to pay, I’m convinced Kent Hughes will highly consider it.

Right now, you need to copy/paste the comment you want to quote and use the “B-quote” tool on it.
It’s not ideal but it will surely improve over time.

I’m not convinced the Habs can afford to trade for Parayko as it would be costly and he turns 33 already next season.
By the time we become competitive, he’ll already have slowed down and carry a 6.5M pricetag until he’s 37.
Andersson is definetely the prime target for me, and, I cannot belive I’m saying this, I think Ceci might be a decent consolation prize if he doesn’t cost too much.
