ParticipantSlaf looked pretty good on that 2nd line. Hard to explain but I felt he was more confident playing with two rookies, almost like he wanted to lead them and it produced great things.
Bolduc with Suzuki and Caufield wasn’t as good but we have to give them at least one more game to see if something “clicks”.

ParticipantThey need this 2nd line center now more than ever.
Give me Stamkos
and yes, Ze GreatZe Bleug Monsieur Brossoit!
Thanks my guy.
But I would stay away from Stamkos. He was already slow as hell when he left Tampa, it didn’t look as bad over there because you had monsters like Kucherov feeding him and he still has his great shot. I don’t see him as a fit on the Habs though. We already have a guy that can only shoot in Laine.

Participantgreat blog as usual, Hugo 👍
I think you wrote this before last night’s game? I didn’t watch it but it would seem that the blog’s title unfortunately remained very relevant. I’m not too worried though they’ll get out of this slump relatively quickly, if the injuries can stop piling on…
Yeah there’s always a delay between me writing the blog and the admins posting it. Sometimes it’s very quick, other time it takes the timing of it a little bit off. No biggy. 🙂

Participantreally..? so you would let Dobes play until he loses, even if that meant Montembeault wouldn’t be playing for an extended period of time?
personnally I find this makes perfect sense, Monteambeault gets the easier team tonight, while Dobes gets the more difficult start against NJ on Thursday.
Not necessarely but Monty was in goal Saturday. I figured it was Dobes’s turn otherwise the argument for “not playing an extended period of time” now applies to him instead since he hasn’t played for almost a week now.

ParticipantI’m kinda surprised Dobes isn’t in goal. I get wanting to get Sam back to his usual level but I’d still run the hot goalie as long as possible.

ParticipantHabs 5 Flyers 2
4-3 Habs. Flyers come back after Habs come into the third leading 3-1 but we score with about 2 min left in the game or in OT.
You know, the usual.

Participantnever stopped me, even if I had my costume covered in a trash bag by the end of the night…
No one goes door to door anymore, anyways.
We had no one last year, still got a small bowl (getting smaller by the hour) by the door, in case.
I remember as a kid getting 2 full pillow cases of candy every Halloween, going door to door…
Oh it won’t stop us going out with the kids tonight. Probably will end sooner than if it wasn’t raining but they’ll power through.
And I don’t know where you live, but in Brossard, plenty of kids are going door to door, we bought over 300 candies and gave half of them away in under two hours.
The other half? It never made it to the 31st.

ParticipantThis place is broken.
I give up.
Aren’t we all a little broken though? Doesn’t that make you relate to this little site we call home? Like we perfectly fit in this imperfect place?
I say it does.
