Hearing that Jonathan Toews has an agreement to sign with the Winnipeg Jets. The contract can’t be registered until July 1.
But Toews has decided to join his hometown Jets according to league sources.I have no/low expectations, too many buyers, not enough sellers. If I had to guess, Habs will end up trading for a 3rd line center who can slot in the 2nd when Dach is injured, Habs will try to move up in the draft also, I say they end up drafting a few spots earlier than 16th. I expect a “We tried but the prices were too high, it didn’t make sense”
