ParticipantGonna need to set up a search and rescue soon….
i don’t even necessarily needa new blog. i just miss him being around.
He’s probably busy with work and there is nothing to report on the Habs.
What will be the new Habs slogan for this season? It was “In the mix” last year…

ParticipantNot expecting anything until the Habs pay the Price bonus on Sept. 1st.
Price is owed a 5.5M bonus on Sept 1st, he has a 2M salary for the this last year of his contract. With 60% insured, the team acquiring Price will have to pay him 800K and they get to carry a 10.5M cap hit to help this team to reach the salary cap floor.
Habs will then have to make a move to clear cap space, they are over the cap right now.
See you in 13 days!

ParticipantI am curious to see how Laine and Dach will be this coming season. Both came into camp last year either not in shape or still recovering. Both are expected to come in 100% this year….

ParticipantGetting Dobson was HUUGEEEE!
Bolduc is a nice addition and still has some untapped potential
Blais is also a positive addition. Way better than the Pezz and he should fit right in on the 4th line. It’s gonna be hard to match Pezz’s 0 point production.
Don’t know if he’ll play, line up should look something like this I guess :
Caufield-Suzuki-Slaf
Laine/Bolduc – Dach – DemidovThen it gets weird, Gallagher and Anderson were good together..
Maybe Gallagher – Evans – Anderson?
Bolduc/Laine – Newhook – Beck/Kapanen/Blais/Roy/Xhekaj?Too early to make line ups IMO, HuGo still have some work to do

Participantand suddenly tonight’ draft is not that interesting lol
Wanted to go to the free outdoor show at the Jazz Festival tonight, featuring Blue Rodeo, but with all that rain I was consoled by the fact of watching an interesting Draft for the Habs.
So… guess I just go to bed early.
LOL.
I have a feeling they will make a trade to grab a late 1st
