Hellebuyck seems to want out.
They should trade him to Florida for Anton Lundel, Daniel Tarasov and second round pick.
Jets need to move on from Chevellallseasonoff! It’s been 15 years and all he has to show for that is 3 playoff series wins. It’s also time to move on from Mark Hillier. Probably the worst head scout in the NHL. Time for a change.
I think the Jets should try and get Elias Pettersson out of Vancouver this summer. He is the ideal buy low candidate.
TO VAN: Cole Perfetti, Alex Iafallo, 2026 first round pick, 2028 third round pick
TO WPG: Elias Pettersson
Jets do not look good without Hellebuyck. I think it’s time to sell on guys like Stanley. I am thinking trading Stanley, Heinola, Lambert and a future first rounder for an upcoming center.
It may also be time to get into the Gavin McKenna sweepstakes. I don’t see this team winning too much over the next while.
Signing players like Pionk to long term extensions was a mistake.
