Just a quick list–Mikael Granlund, Boone Jenner, Mason McTavish, Marco Rossi, Gabe Vilardi. We would all prefer somebody younger like McTavish, but we will see what happens. Maybe some sort of a trade for non free agent? Something has to be done because Dvorak and Coots are not top line Centers.

The Flyers rebuild/retool is hopefully just about over. The Flyers don’t have any Centers in the system that are anywhere near making it to the NHL. If the Flyers make the playoffs, I think it will draw some quality free agents during the off season. Briere made good moves signing Vladar and trading for Zegras. With the dead money from Hayes, Atkinson and Laughton coming off the books this summer, Briere should have some money to spend to get us a quality Center in free agency.

Huge win! Hopefully we get some help in the games tonight? Good game by Matvei, but he’s making too many trips to the penalty box. Hopefully he out grows this bad habit sooner than later.

Highly doubtful that Fox goes to Philly. He has a NMC for 2025-2026 and M-NTC after that, plus his $9.5 million salary is a little high for Philly to take on.

Glad to see Risto back in the lineup. The Flyers defense needed some size and somebody willing to clear the crease. You mentioned Sanheim’s “physical” play. Sanheim is a great skater, but at 6’4″ 22 lbs, he plays soft for his size. Reminds me of Coburn back in the day. Lots of size, but not physical for his size.

Flyers had their chances, but couldn’t get that 3rd goal. Andrae had some slick moves on the ice and looked good. Ersson looks great at times, especially in shootouts, but it seems he doesn’t wake up until he gives up a questionable goal to start the games. I definitely have more faith in Vladar at this time.

It’s always great to beat Cindy Crybaby and the Pens. Ersson looked good in the shootout, but he always seems to give up a softie goal that takes the wind out of the Flyers sails. Hopefully he breaks that bad habit sooner than later?

Our PP has been pathetic the last few years, so why not try Bonk as the bumper? I know we don’t have a John LeClair, Mike Knuble or Wayne Simmonds type of player on the team, but I would like to see somebody cause a little mayhem in front of the net on the PP.
