What are the chances the flyers sign any of York, Cates, or Tyson to an actual good deal? Assuming it is long term.
“Jonesy” said if you dont want to be a flyer then you won’t. so an offer sheet shouldn’t worry the gold standard.
Seems odd that they have a better chance to drop then sty in the 4th slot. Any peeps know why that is
Bill it was reported they offered York an ext few months back and he declined.
Speaking of which, what type of contract do you see York, Cates, and Tyson signing.
@ Bill so they will force the new coach to retain Shaw as an assistant? Or will they find another role in the organization for Shaw.
Really hope they do not force whoever they hire to keep Shaw. Also what has Dillabaugh done in 10 years to be retained?
Briere had no intention of firing Torts. He said so himself. The also had a meeting of the “minds” for several days before Briere was given the ok to move on form Torts. Torts got himself fired. If you can’t see that then oh well.
There is zero chance they try to tank. They haven’t done that yet and they will not start now. they are looking to add players to “compete”. If they fail it will not be design.
Tomahawk get your facts straight before you start bellyaching. someone created the hello its me 2050 account (maybe go back and read the thread). It was not I. Whoever created it is a fake, fraud, and fugazi.
yes its me 2050 is the original hello it’s me 2050.
look at cliff chiming in already. you calling anyone a troll is pure entertainment. you make me laugh, ruin this site too. How is your dad doing?
why would Bill ban me cliff?
What happens if Jones wants him and Briere wants another guy. That is a possibility on several candidates as not always going to see eye to eye which isn’t a bad thing.
Who do they then defer to? If anyone of course.
2 last questions:
1. Is there any time frame they have to name a coach? Are they waiting for any assistants who are still coaching do you now of?
2. Issacc Howard. I am sure Flyers would have interest. Would Howard. To walk away from arguably the best run organization in hockey seems rather odd to me on the surface.
Enjoy your Sunday.
