The Finns never trailed at any point in the game. They took a 2-0 lead to the first intermission and a 3-1 edge into the third period.
Nikolas Matipalo, Anton Lundell, Joel Armia (SHG) and Mikko Rantanen (ENG) scored for the Lions. Rasmus Dahlin (PPG) notched the lone goal for Tre Kronor. Meanwhile, Ristolainen had a plus-three day over 19:58 of ice time. He also blocked a couple of Sweden shot attempts and had one shot on goal of his own.
