Red Wings youth movement continues
For the Detroit Red Wings, young players have made making presence known right away.. The Red and White game saw Emmitt Finnie defying expectations for the upcoming season. The pre season opener against Chicago saw Finnie stand out, additionally raising his stock in the process.
Finnie had a goal and an assist, leading to Detroit’s 3-2 victory over the Blackhawks. Furthermore, his line with Nate Danielson and Carter Mazur was easily the team’s best. Veterans, additionally, would do well to take notice and be on high alert.

Veterans J.T. Compher and Andrew Copp , conversely, both seem to have been put on notice. Compher struggled in tonight’s contest, consequently missing a critical block on a goal against.
