Oilers and Ducks in the First Round

The Edmonton Oilers are one step closer to the NHL Stanley Cup. If they can make it to the Stanley Cup final, maybe the old saying “Third time’s the charm” will come true.

They closed out the 2025-26 season with a solid 6-1 victory over their bitter rivals, the Vancouver Canucks. Now they are on to bigger and better things. It all starts with a first-round match-up against the Anaheim Ducks. Edmonton will be hoping for the return of Leon Draisaitl at some point in this series.

Following the conclusion of their season last night, the NHL released the Oilers and Ducks’ playoff schedule. Here is everything you need to know about their series against the Ducks.
