Who do u think matches up vs the Stankoven line? Really hurts to bd missing Cates.

Coots line. I worry about getting some of our wingers scoring. They’ve produced close to zero offensively since late in the Pens series.

      1. Quick start
      2. Somehow, Some way win the special teams.
      3. Wing scoring (from anyone).

Coots should be a staple on one of the PPs at this point. Can’t get any worse.

In addition, given that Glendening can take draws and play center, put him with 19 and 91 and move Coots to 3rd line with Barkey and Michkov. Coots appears to be willing to carry the team on his back and might as well let him at this point. just my 2 cents.

I think Couturier will play PP now if only to win faceoffs.

In terms of combos (subject to chance), I think the starting line tonight will be close to this:

Tyson Foerster — Christian Dvorak – Travis Konecny
Alex Bump – Trevor Zegras – Porter Martone
Carl Grundstrom – Denver Barkey – Matvei Michkov
Luke Glendening – Sean Couturier – Garnet Hathaway

I hope so. He also has poise and ability to hold onto the puck and make plays and not get steamrolled like some of our smaller, skilled players. So think he’s a good fit on one of the units.

Tocchet said something about Couturier being “quite possible” for all game situation duty over rest of series. So he’s thought out it.
