A disappointing loss, for sure. But, all in all it was a much better season than any of us expected. Worried that Michkov is becoming another Yakupov. Hopeful for Martone and the other rookies that showed up. Still looking like the Flyers are another 2+ years from the SCF as TBL, FLA, and CAR begin to age and the power structure in the east begins to reset.

Was at the game. Sad we lost 2 OT games but Carolina is the better team.

    1. First line center
    2. Improve power play to not be the worst — or near the worst — in the NHL
    3. Extend Zegras and Vladar but not with a blank check
    4. I’d consider moving TK and certainly would move the immature, out-of-shape, stubborn Russian pseudo “future superstar”. Not a team player.

Good article. Good season. Canes are just the better team at present. I don’t see Montreal or Buffalo — especially Montreal — beating Carolina.
