<p class=”userway-s15-active” data-userway-s15-styled=”true” style=”font-family: UDF, serif !important; transition: all;”>I said they were ruining Korchinski. I said they were wasting Bedard because they failed to surround him with talent. They found a slightly above average winger for him this year and Bedard is approaching the top of the league. I also thought the coaching was subpar under Richardson and was skewered for it.

Bedard worked on his body this offseason. He’s a different player than his first two years. Kudos to him for understanding what he needed to do. Now if he could just win an f’ing face-off.

The Ducks defense isn’t very good but hey the new trend in hockey is let’s outscore everyone

I get it LA the grass is always greener with other teams

When did the Ducks trade 2 first round picks for an above average defenseman in that time line.

They did the smart thing and traded for a disgruntled forward who was drafted 5th OA.

Which gives them 2OA, 3OA, 3OA AND a 5th OA forwards group. Drafted in the past 5 years.

They said these were the moves they were going to make, KD even said something Blashill had said, when it gets to a point when we think a player is trying to survive instead of strive its time for them to be sent to the Rock to work on their game.

I think they are handling this season great.

I agree. From the outside looking in, there’s been moves I would’ve made a little sooner but they eventually made them and sure there’s a lot behind the scenes that they consider prior to making final decisions that we are not 100% privy to. Good on them thus far, keep it going!

So i guess the timeline only matters to you but not the 2 completely directions both clubs were going in at the time both GMs took over, cool.

What trades did Murray make that brought back any draft capital of significance? You don’t have to look it up, it was zero.

I guess if you have a bad record that means you are rebuilding. If that is the case then under your theory the Hawks are in year 10 of the rebuild.

Well Steve Anaheim and San Jose have been rebuilding longer so if anyone passes anyone…..

I do believe we went 2-1 against the mighty ducks?

Also did you know that the Habs lost 2 games in a row this year total score 12-1?

You were the same guy who said the Blackhawks were ruining Bedard.

Steve always wants the quick fix.

They were getting great goaltending and scoring on over 13% of their shots early in the season. Both are regressing. San Jose and Anaheim have passed them at this point. There does not appear to be any pressure from ownership, media, or the fan base to win now. Everyone has swallowed the Cool-Aid that Frondell, Kanserov, Lardis and others are going to arrive soon and turn this around. Bedard is in year 3 and just scratching the surface of what he will be. Those guys will take as long if not longer. It is past time for a bold move. Toninato is not enough. Quinn Hughes is moving. Hawks and Canucks have made many low level deals. Hughes has 1.5 years remaining on his deal and can get a 8 year deal if he resigns this summer. The CBA is going to reduce that to 7 to resign and 6 as an UFA. That change could potentially cost him $30 million. Hopefully Hawks GM is on the phone and figuring out what it will take to get him.

I’m not wild about the fact that, without a callup, they have only 12F and 6D healthy.

Only need 12/6 for Wednesday and can callup someone for Friday if needed. Hogs are in Iowa on Wed night and home on Fri night.

Would like to see Rinzel/EDM pairing in Rockford.
